On Saturday, July 26, a workshop “Creating Textile Art with Everyday Recycled Materials” was held in Kawaguchi Art Gallery ATLIA by Andrea Myers and Mariko Kobayashi. The theme was “Collaboration with Others.” Under the guidance of the artists, participants used repurposed fabric to create collaged textile birds. Working together—rather than making pieces entirely on their own—they invited one another’s hands into their work. This intentional sharing sparked unexpected moments of beauty and playfulness, giving each artwork a unique sense of collective creativity.
