On Sunday, July 27, an artist talk event featuring #usjcafp fellows Andrea Myers and Mariko Kobayashi was held at Kawaguchi Art Gallery ATLIA.

During the talk, the two artists discussed a wide range of topics—from their individual themes and choice of materials to the messages they hope to convey through their works, as well as the background of their collaboration. They also introduced the workshop held the day before, “Creating Textile Art with Everyday Recycled Materials.”
