To mark the tenth anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, two artist families, one American, the other Japanese, embark on Tabi Wa Sumika/ Journey Itself Home, a poetic act of radical caring to rebuild social trust. The artist team engaged the public with stories from Fukushima 311 Disaster survivors about adaptation, hope, and the meaning of home.

On this 11th anniversary, we present a look-back video of the exhibition held at the Setagaya Art Museum last year. The video is created by Serino Nakayama, an intern at the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission.
