Panasonic Center Workshop (Volta)

2021.12.28

A Fellow artist Ben Volta and his collaborator Cho Kuwakado recently held a workshop at Panasonic Center Tokyo! United By Emotions is a collaborative art project which involves holding workshops in various locations in Japan and the U.S. and creating installations based on the artworks created with the children. On this day, 49 first-grade students from K. International School Tokyo participated. While communicating with Mr. Volta in Philadelphia via ZOOM, they creatively expressed their own “energy and emotions” on colored paper and created beautiful rings.

These rings will be added to the work currently on display at the Panasonic Center Tokyo next month, continuing to expand the circle of energy between children in Japan and the U.S. The exhibition is open to the public until the end of March.
