Nichi Bei Creative Artist Fellow Toru Shimazaki, a celebrated choreographer who lives in Kobe, Japan, is collaborating with NYC-based choreographer Cameron McKinney on a project that celebrates the friendship between Japan and the United States. Though Nichi Bei Creative Artist projects have been postponed until 2021 due to the pandemic, Shimazaki’s work can still be experienced online.
